The FedEx driver came a day early. My heart sank when I got home and saw the tag on my front door, but I quickly signed to bottom and put it back. Then I waited. The next day after returning from running errands, it was there. I always get excited when albums arrive. There is something magical about opening them up and flipping through the pages. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience, and being part of a digital generation, I absolutely love the non-digital-ness of it. Yep, I just made that word up.
Madera Books is the most wonderful album company I’ve ever encountered. They are simple and easy to work with, they have the BEST customer service (hey, Cyndie!), and their albums are top notch. But instead of trying to tell you, let me just show you.
Look at this gorgeous box that every wedding album comes in. Incredible.
I absolutely love the stamping options. I think it gives the album an extra special touch.
My favorite thing about Madera is that their wedding albums aren’t folded. I think there is something gross about the bumpiness of a folded page, and I much prefer the sleek, clean cut of Madera. Small enough to not be distracting, but large enough that it keeps the pages in pristine condition.
The pages are so thick and the experience of turning each page is unbelievable.
Oh, and of course I also love the special little touch of adding my branding to each album.
For all you photographers out there, I highly recommend that you check out Madera. They just recently released a linen album and I can’t wait to get my hands on one. This album is a 16-spread (32 pages) 10×10 album. I designed it using KISS’s SWAT designer (enlisted), and proofed it to the client with the SWAT proofing system.
