The first time I met Green and Jim, I immediately felt like I’d known them forever. They have these amazingly warm personalities that draw you in and lift you up. As I’ve gotten to know these two, I can’t help but smile at how much they love each other, and just how perfect they are for each other. Green and Jim, I am so thankful to know you both. Thank you so much for allowing me to share in your special day…and I can’t wait until the next time we meet. XOXO, Rachel
Green started off her day at Mane Street Hair in Waverly. It was a little cold in the morning, but thankfully it warmed up quite a bit by the time the ceremony rolled around.
The details were just wonderful.
Green’s dress was her grandmother’s wedding dress from 1938. Her mother also wore it for her wedding, making Green the third generation to wear the dress.
I’m in love with that lace!
Major thanks to Eckers Flowers for the incredible bouquet, and Green, stop it. You are so gorgeous!
The first look. Gets me every time.
We strolled around the Wartburg campus, and the light was phenomenal.
This is definitely one of my favorites.
A sweet moment during the ceremony…
My favorite part of Green and Jim’s wedding was when all of their guests surrounded the couple to pray for and bless their marriage.
Mr. and Mrs!
The reception was at The Centre in Waverly, and no detail went forgotten. So beautiful.
I can’t get over this sweetheart table!
True story: I rarely remember (or have time) to try the cake at weddings, but I managed to snag one of these cupcakes and they were so delicious! Jim works at a gourmet bakery and helped bake all of these!
The toasts were beyond hilarious…
…and the dancing was too sweet.
Green and Jim, I wish you all the happiness in the world! Congratulations!
